The Bournshake!!

The bournshake, a fancy name for a thick-shake, is an easier way to treat your loved ones. Many of us crave to try out something sweet and something new, and unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, going out is not an option. So why not give our taste buds a treat with this easy to make a thick-shake.

The term "milkshake" was first used in print in 1885, a sturdy, healthful eggnog type of drink, with eggs, whiskey, made it an alcoholic drink. However, in the early 1900s, milkshakes were no longer alcoholic and were made with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla syrups. By 1930, this sweet treat was a popular drink at malt shops that were used as the hangout or meeting place by students.

There are various terms used for milkshakes across the world. An ice-cream based milkshake may be called a thick shake to distinguish it. The term concrete is used for particular thick milkshakes that do not spill when turned upside down.
